I’ve written about A random Gnome’s random lair a few times now, and if you haven’t seen it already, here’s another shining example of why you should check it out. As always, the Gnome is right on the button with his choices, although I think I could bump it up to ten with my own 3 that I felt should’ve made it in there.
1. Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII. A feisty girl if ever there was one, and not someone you’d want to get on the wrong side of. She’s a flirty girl, at least with Cloud Strife anyhow but she knows where the line is, which is more than I can say for that dirty cow Tifa Lockheart. I heard she had a lesbian 3-way with the Dead or Alive girls 
.
2. Princess Zelda from the Legend of Zelda series. When it comes to harrowing life experiences, nobody can beat Zelda. She’s had more unbelievable bad stuff happen to her than the cast of Lost. How many times can a girl get kidnapped? Maybe she should learn to hang out with Princess Peach and pick up a few tips from there. Still, she’s as demure as they come and as regal as they get.
3. Samus Aran from Metroid. Now this is one girl you do not mess with, especially if you happen to be a space pirate. Mum always told me never go out with anyone who wears a power suit on the first date. I’m not sure what Mum would say about girls who morph into balls though.
There are others out there I’m sure (Jill Valentine for one IMHO), but these three ladies definately make my top 10. What would you put in yours?
