Things are pretty screwed up in London but appear to be going back to normal. I just wanted to say my thoughts are with those who have lost, or lost contact with friends and loved ones tonight.
How things pan out afterwards will be pretty interesting. Will the government try to push the ID card bill through yet again? Are we going to see more people detained against their will without trial by jury, charge or even solid evidence? Only time will tell. I hope the UK Government adopts a responsible mature attitude to this and recognises that violence and oppression only fuels the flames of terror, and that a softly softly approach may be the way forward, at least on the surface.
In other news, I’ve finally updated the site CSS, it’s based on a theme I found on the net with some minor changes. At least now it renders properly in IE.
