Why use OSX when you can use A/UX?

Some say that we’re a bit crazy at SnakeOil Labs, but since a Quadra 650 showed up at the lab with the devil’s compiler (and no, we’re not talking about Visual Studio 4.0) and the bizarre schizoid OS that is A/UX 3.0.1 we just couldn’t help but rise to the challenge of squeezing that little bit more out of it than we’re probably supposed to.

Our Web Server installation guide can be downloaded from here. If you have the hardware and the software, you’ll probably find things a lot easier with this support tarball.

For the next few days at least, there’s a live mirror at Buyukada.co.uk, running on an A/UX box no less!

We love the glitz and glamour of the sparkly and shiny nuggets that plough through the Steve Jobs PR mincing machine. Maybe I just see spin for what it is, but there’ s something some of you need to know out there. [...]
